A good sale to Mexico City.

Mexico is one of the countries with active cases of Zika virus transmission. Please read up on it at the Center for Disease Control if you are planning to go. (But Mexico City is unaffected due to its elevation – over 6,500 feet)

Here are some practical travel tips to Mexico City.

Booked a trip for Oct 1-8. Paid $344 roundtrip for flights with the shortest layovers in Phoenix (going) and Dallas (returning). Still a great deal from Seattle; the same itinerary is now $626.

Note that fares from SFO to MEX just dropped significantly today — I’m tracking them for friends who might join us in Oct. A one-stop on AA is as low as $319, while the non-stop UA flights are $402.
