Literally 10 minutes after I booked a flight SFO to HND, I got my daily digest with this sale. I paid $2k for 2 px, and the sale prices would be $800 return from/to LAX THROUGH SFO. There isn’t any way possible to ditch the LAX legs to get the fare is there? We’ll have luggage, so I can’t just get off the plane at the end of the trip. Any recos appreciated!

@jen – why don’t you start from SJC or OAK? That’s $550. While not as cheap as LAX departures, wouldnt that be cheaper than SFO-HND? As for the LAX fare via SFO, you have to start in LAX or the rest of the itinerary will cancel. However, on the returns via SFO, you can ditch the last segment as the luggage has to be picked up at the first port of entry.

Are the United flights from SJC still available? I don’t see them.

The Flight Deal 9 years ago Reply

@Jay – out of SJC, only Delta and American. No United availability.
