Qantas – $874: San Francisco – Auckland, New Zealand. Roundtrip, including all Taxes

New Zealand and Australia are the hardest places for deals. In almost 11,000 deal posts, there has been less than 15 deals to NZ or Australia. Works for a long New Years getaway.

Qantas O class seems to credit 100% to AS (not sure for how long), sounds like a much better choice than credit to AA.

When reading on Qantas website, the “Sale” fare actually allows for one free stopover. Has anybody tried doing this? Multi-city prices it out to $1,700 USD. I called their customer service in the United States, and they said, “It should be able to price out.” I may call again for assistance. In the mean time, does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
