This is a very good deal to Bangkok. CheapOair is offering this fare for $100 lowered than what’s found on ITA. This fare is non-mileage earning. The cheapest mileage earning fare is over $700 and the miles that you would earn isn’t worth that much.
We tested numerous $699 dates found on ITA on CheapOair and they all priced at $599.

Can’t have assigned seats until 24 hours before the flight!
If you take advantage of the LAX-KUL deal on ANA from a few days ago, you can find a lower fare if you return to LAX via BKK instead. Seeing it priced as low as $618 for dates in September and October. You just have to figure out travel between KL and Bangkok.
and you have to take into account the horrible rep that China Airlines has overall on customer service if you can deal with the price.
I would as a one time deal.
RT booked 10/15-11/8.
Anyone know a way to get assigned seats on China Airlines a couple of months ahead of time?
