We don’t normally post Norwegian deals:
- They are non-mileage earning
- They haven’t had the best on-time performance since launching Trans-Atlantic service
- The fares don’t include anything beside the seat (no seat assignment, no food or luggage) — and when you include those, usually they are the same price as the tickets on United and/or Delta
However at $337 for nonstop service, it probably makes sense to consider this. If you can travel light (as in a small carry-on) and deal with potential delays, there are a lot of cheap fares from Oslo on Norwegian to the rest of Europe. For instance, you can fly on Norwegian from Oslo to Barcelona for $140 roundtrip! The inter-Europe service is more reliable too.
If you need to travel with bags, United has a similar fare for $487 out of Newark. The baggage and seat assignment fee for Norwegian for this trip comes out for $67 per segment or $134 roundtrip. So it’s about the same price as United.

Do you think is it worth to choose their premium cabin? From the airline’s website, the seats look more like premium economy than business.
I found it for US$1302.70 round-trip.
@Carlos – probably not.
How long do you think this sale will last?
@K – no idea. our advice always is book then plan. There’s a risk free 24 hour cancellation period. Book, use that to plan and cancel if you can’t make it work. Norwegian’s cancellation policy is here: http://www.norwegian.com/en/customer-services/travel-information/tickets-/
