Delta is attacking American’s lucrative routes from Dallas and Miami to the following cities in Brazil:

• Rio de Janeiro (GIG)
• Sao Paulo (GRU)
• Salvador da Bahia (SSA)

American is returning the favor from Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Minneapolis, Memphis and Salt Lake City to the same cities in Brazil. As with any fare war, it will not last. Delta has a 24 hour cancellation policy while American has a 24 hour hold policy. Use them to firm up your travel plans.
