A good sale to Rome.
Delta introduced Basic Economy fares to European and North African destinations for travel starting April 1st. Delta International Basic Economy fares do not:
- Allow for advance seat assignment
- Include checked bags – they are $45 each way
- Allow for changes
- Allow for cancellations – so if you cancel after the 24 hour risk free period, the Basic Economy version will have no value for future purchase
Air France and KLM Royal Dutch have the same price and same restrictions – however, online travel agencies are not correctly displaying this.
