Norwegian – Starting at $148: Boston / Baltimore / New York – Martinique / Guadeloupe. Roundtrip, including all Taxes

How about getting out of the snow and onto the French Caribbean? Norwegian’s still has some sub $200 deals to Martinique and Guadeloupe from Boston, Baltimore and New York

As a reminder, Norwegian allows for 10 kilos or about 22lbs of free carry-on and one item (not the standard two that most US carriers allow). You should prepay for luggage if you not traveling light.

Thanks to Mark for the tip.

Just returned from Guadeloupe via Norwegian. The 737s are spacious, clean, depart and arrive on time and carry a friendly, mostly Norwegian crew. Free wifi on board. All beverages and food cost $ and must by paid for with a CC, but are quite reasonably priced. As for the baggage policy, as long as your baggage fits in Norwegian’s luggage size template at check-in, you’re good to go. They did not weigh my bag on either leg of the trip (just our experience, your experience may vary…).

There are many nice airbnb properties on Guadeloupe, some priced as low as 40E/night. The way my wife and I look at it, we got RT airfare and four nights lodging for less than we might spend on two tickets to the theater and pre-theater dinner and a drink here in NYC.
