All Nippon Airways – $766: Seattle – Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Roundtrip, including all Taxes

A good sale to Ho Chi Minh City. United has this for $32 cheaper and is on the same plane, but just United flight numbers. So why would we want to make you spend an extra $32? Under the new mileage earning rules, if you fly United, you will earn 3,121 miles.

If you fly All Nippon Airways and credit to United, you will earn 14,952 miles — that’s enough for a domestic one-way award ticket. That is worth more than $32. Sometimes you have to spend money to save money.

Thank you for the info. I do have a question about ANA mileage accrual. According to their website, class K is accrued only at 30% of the actual mileage flown. If that information is accurate, then there is not a big advantage between United and ANA’s accrual rate. Am I getting the right information?

    Thank you in advance.

@Quan – we are recommending you credit to United, not ANA for the ANA flights.

Thank you much. I assumed that ANA would credit United at the same rate as ANA, but this is a great recommendation.
