I’d like to book this fare but I live in San Francisco so it doesn’t make sense for me to go to LAX when this flight stops over in SFO. However, if I look up the exact same fare from SFO it costs $750. Is there any way around this?
@Sagar – this fare is for LA to Hong Kong service. where it connects is irrelevant. you must start from LA. We would wait if you need to go to Hong Kong, there has been fares for under $700 out of SFO this year.
My friend at travel agency assisted in reserving Korean Air ticket: SFO > ICN > HKG > SFO. Travel dates 5/7/15 – 5/30/15. We are staying one week in Korea and the rest of the time in HK. The flight ticket totaled $900. Is this a good deal or should I wait before confirming?
@Mary – the fare to HK alone is $860, with the stopover in Seoul, it isn’t bad. April is the end of the cheap tickets to Asia and May is when prices start increasing — in that context, it isnt bad.
There’s also a deal from LAX > ICN via Korean Air for around $570.
