Hawaiian Airlines recently launched service from Honolulu to Auckland, New Zealand. They’re only one of two carriers to offer direct service from the United States to Auckland. The other carrier is Air New Zealand from Los Angeles. As part of the service launch, they are offering $200 off from any of their US gateway cities to Auckland. Hawaiian services the US from the following gateway cities:
- Seattle
- Portland
- San Francisco
- Oakland
- San Jose
- San Diego
- Los Angeles
- Sacramento
- Las Vegas
- Phoenix
- New York
- And cities in Hawaii
New Zealand is normally very expensive to fly to due to the lack of competition and the distance. $200 off helps a bit.
The terms of the offer are:
- Book by April 14
- Travel by February 28th, 2014.
- Must book from Hawaiian Airlines’ Website (the link directs you to the coupon)
We did a sample booking from New York with the coupon. It’s around $1,200 (~6.5 cents per mile) which definitely isn’t bad at all.
(We had a bit of a challenge using this coupon on Firefox but it works fine with Chrome though.)
