Starwood just announced on Twitter that it is giving 100 SPG points for liking their Facebook page and entering a contest for 100,000 SPG points. 100 points is not a lot and you can’t do a whole lot with it, but it serves multiple purposes:
- If you have a SPG account and have points in it, it extends the points expiration another 12 months
- If you have 1,400 points in your account, the additional 100 points would allow you to transfer to over 20 airline partners at 1:1 ratio
- If you are 100 points from a free night, well, here’s that 100 points that you need
