Starwood just posted on FlyerTalk that they are giving 1,000 points for completing a survey. The survey is simple and with the new expiration policy change by Starwood, points earn outside of a hotel stay or using the American Express Starwood card will now extend expiration. This is an easy way to extend your points expiration for another 12 months.
